My Goats

I researched and thought about goats for a couple of years before I took the plunge. Kiki met all my qualities I wanted; nigerian dwarf, tri-colored, naturally polled, and bred (actually heavily bred). I got her home and made a run to tractor supply for food and minerals. Two and half weeks after bringing her home she had a black and white doeling! I wasn't ready to milk Kiki yet, but the doeling was only drinking on one side so I learned quickly about milking. My first taste of fresh goat milk was better than I expected. YUM! Now the little one needed a name.....
